    Holi: Festival of Colors

    until
4-player game of Holi: Festival of Colors from Floodgate Games, played on Tabletopia. Envoy Herald: Bayard Catron Level of Players Expected: Beginners Welcome Hello players! Check your email here on the gateway for the link we'll use to communicate by voice for tonight's game at 7 Eastern. See you then! Every spring, celebrants gather to spread color and cheer during one of India’s most vibrant festivals. Move around the festival grounds throwing colored “gulaal” powder onto your friends and the crowd. Aim higher and let your color fall from above on as many people as you can. For Holi is a time for playful mischief and a little friendly rivalry is just what the festival calls for... In Holi, players gain joy by throwing color on the boards (higher levels are worth more points), getting color on others, and from collecting sweets. Play your color cards cleverly, climb up at the right time, and spread the most joy! This is a PLAY-TO-WIN event. Three players who participate in any of the 18 events from March 22nd through April 4th will WIN a physical copy of the game. Full details can be found here: In order to join, you will need to be logged into a free Tabletopia account. Prior knowledge of Tabletopia is not required. If you would like a brief look at some helpful hints with Tabletopia, here is a YouTube Playlist to get you started.

    Sagrada

    until
2-4-player game of Sagrada from Floodgate Games, played on Tabletop Simulator. Envoy Herald: GM Jim Dunaway Level of Players Expected: Beginners welcome. Draft dice and use the tools-of-the-trade in Sagrada to carefully construct your stained glass window masterpiece. In more detail, each player builds a stained glass window by building up a grid of dice on their player board. Each board has some restrictions on which color or shade (value) of die can be placed there. Dice of the same shade or color may never be placed next to each other. Dice are drafted in player order, with the start player rotating each round, snaking back around after the last player drafts two dice. Scoring is variable per game based on achieving various patterns and varieties of placement...as well as bonus points for dark shades of a particular hidden goal color. Special tools can be used to help you break the rules by spending skill tokens; once a tool is used, it then requires more skill tokens for the other players to use them. The highest scoring window artisan wins! Flamme Rouge

    until
4 player game of Flamme Rouge by Stronghold Games on Tabletop Simulator. Envoy Herald/Gamemaster: Jameson Johnson. Level of Players Expected: Beginners Welcome Flamme Rouge is a fast-paced, tactical bicycle racing game where each player controls a team of two riders: a Rouleur and a Sprinteur. The players’ goal is to be the first to cross the finish line with one of their riders. Players move their riders forward by drawing and playing cards from that riders specific deck, depleting it as they go. Use slipstreams to avoid exhaustion and position your team for a well timed sprint for the win. You must already own Tabletop Simulator from Steam and have it installed: https://store.steampowered.com/app/286160/Tabletop_Simulator/

    Monster Expedition

    until
4-player game of Monster Expedition from AMIGO, played on Tabletopia. Envoy Herald: Jameson Johnson Level of Players Expected: Beginners Welcome As the newest members of the Royal Monstrological Society, players embark on an expedition to hunt for legendary monsters, which have been spotted in the cloudlands, in the deep sea, and in the haunted forest. With ideal dice combinations, players can improve their camps, catch new monsters, and use the abilities of previously captured monsters. At the start of Monster Expedition, which is set in the same world as 2019's Carnival of Monsters, players each receive a set of three supply camps, and a wilderness display is formed from ten cards. Create a draw pile based on the number of players, then place this deck in the center of play, along with the game board and dice. On your turn, you choose one of your three camps, then goes monster hunting, with your camp level determining which dice are available. At the start of the hunt, you roll all the dice, and after each roll, you set aside all dice of a chosen value that you haven't yet set aside. If you can't set any dice aside, the throw counts as a miss and you lose the best dice you laid out previously. When you stop, use the set-aside dice to capture monsters from the wilderness and improve your supply camps, possibly calling on abilities from monsters already in your collection. When the draw pile is exhausted, complete the round so that all players have had the same number of turns, then tally the points to see who took the biggest haul. This is a PLAY-TO-WIN event. Three players who participate in any of the 18 events from April 12th through April 25th will WIN a physical copy of the game. Each season has three rounds and you can either build, move or feed depending on the cards in your hand and the strategy you want to adopt. When you build you claim benefits for your kiwi flock both immediately and at the beginning of each season. Kiwi birds are hungry and love to be fed. When you feed them, they grow and can push other smaller kiwi out of the way, or even off the island. Be careful though – too much food and they explode! This is a PLAY-TO-WIN event. One player who participates in any of the 18 events from May 17th - 31st will WIN a physical copy of the game.
