Administrators Salvius Posted September 28, 2020 Administrators Share Posted September 28, 2020 When you find an event that you'd like to participate in, look in the lower left corner of the event. Here you will see how many "seats" are available and how many of those have been filled. If there is an available seat, you can RSVP by clicking the "Going" button and you will instantly be added as a participant to the event. The Event Organizer (usually the Herald/Gamemaster) will be notified that you have joined the event. If you change your mind and decide NOT to attend an event you previously signed up for, just click the "Leave Event" link and you will be removed. Again, the Event organizer will be notified. If you find that you cannot attend an event with limited space, PLEASE be courteous and remove yourself from the event as early as possible so that someone else can claim your "seat". If the event is filled up, you can add yourself as an Alternate by writing a comment. If confirmed players drop out of the event, the Event Organizer will add Alternates from the comments in the order in which they were posted and notify you. Some events have unlimited attendance (such as Twitch Live Broadcasts). They have an additional option, called "Maybe". You can click this button to indicate your interest in the event, but you will not receive notifications from the Event Organizer. You can upgrade your status to "Going" at any time, or "Leave" the event at any time. Speaking of notifications, the system will automatically send you an email the day of the event with the link to the event. You can also set a reminder for yourself on a specific day before the event. The Event Organizer might also send you a message through the site's internal messaging system, perhaps with specific details about logging into the event, etc. You can see a complete listing of all events you've signed up for by clicking on your Profile icon in the upper right corner of the Gateway's header bar - then click on the "RSVPed Events" tab (this tab will not appear if you have not RSVPed to any events!).
