Kokoro: Avenue of the Kodama

Online Games
Jim Dunaway (718)

2-5 player game of Kokoro:  Avenue of the Kodama from IBC, played on TTS. GM: Jim Dunaway

Level of Players Expected: Beginners Welcome

The enchanted forest of the kodama is flourishing. But with so much growth, the ancient paths to the sanctuaries within have become overgrown and lost. Now the forest guardians call upon you, their loyal kodama, to restore these paths. Help your kodama build these paths, gather offerings for the guardians, and win their favor.

Kokoro is an exciting family game that can be played with up to eight players! Each player has a forest map to draw their paths and turns are simultaneous so the game plays quickly. Connecting your sanctuaries to offerings will gain you favor. Choose wisely because you never know exactly when the sanctuary will score. And you shouldn't be too greedy, if a sanctuary is not connected to more offerings than your previous sanctuary, you lose points!

You must already own Tabletop Simulator from Steam and have it installed: https://store.steampowered.com/app/286160/Tabletop_Simulator/

Tabletop Simulator server name:  EN JD Kokoro  password:  Kodama

Discord will be used for the audio. The discord server link is https://discord.gg/46TnS9wx.

I am sorry, I thought this was scheduled for Wednesday the 17th when I was free. I don't know if this got moved from Wednesday the 17th to Thursday the 18th, or I made a mistake and just thought it was for the 17th.  I am already scheduled for Unmatched at 5pm on the 18th, so I must drop out since I committed to the other first.

I'm sorry you won't be able to make it. I will run it again. When are you free?

How far in advance can you schedule?  I am actually off work again today, Work has power but no internet or phones, and boss said all office workers stay home due to more wintry mix weather today.  My husband the truck driver is also home as the roads are still not safe.  Our biggest problem is the internet keeps going out on us, but it seems to be steady today and it has been on 12 hours straight overnight.

If you have to schedule in advance, how about Mon. 22nd or Thursday 25th?  It would have to be after 4 p.m. CST.  Shelli might be able to join us!

Shelli would also like to learn Tiny Epic Zombies, but it has to be after 4 p.m. CST on a normal week day.

Jim, the gateway shows you scheduled Kokoro at 7 pm, the same time as your King of the Dice demo.  Can you run 2 games at once?

Sorry, our home internet not stable enough to play for more than 10 minutes at a time, not fair to you to try and participate under these conditions.

No worries.

I'll be running it again on Monday.

Kokomo is a short game, so if you get knocked off, we can wait for a few minutes for you to come back online
